This event is a 2-gun biathlon range day invitational, a collaboration between Third Coast Tactical & Texas Carbine. Competitors carry a rifle & pistol; having 30 minutes on the course to complete 2 laps, with 10 different stages. Each lap is a mile in length & there are 10 stages.

About the event

This event is a 2-gun biathlon range day invitational, and a collaboration between Third Coast Tactical and Texas Carbine. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol and have 30 minutes on the course to complete 2 laps, each lap has 6 to 4 shooting stages with a different course of fire for each. Each lap is a mile in length and there are 10 stages. Range Officers will brief you prior to executing each Course of Fire and keep your time/score. 

The ranges will be 200yds and closer for all engagements. Each competitor must carry everything needed to complete the course with them when they start. There will be day and night shooting available. Competitors can run solo or with one other teammate. This event allows a competitor/team to have a course to themselves, test gear/supplies, and provide an introductory experience for 2-gun biathlon events to those that want to get into the sport.   

The time blocks are limited to 2 participants maximum, so if you have a partner that wants to try a Run N Gun, they can buddy up with you for that purchased time slot and shoot that course of fire as well. (A two participants for the price of one ticket)

25 30-minute day range blocks, 

5 30-minute night range blocks; 1-day event. 

Recommend ammunition regardless of selected participant class, 210 rounds rifle, 100 rounds pistol (Note this amount of ammunition ensure all participants have the best chance of completing all stages with ammunition to spare).  

Competitors may choose to run the course with any ammo combination from rimfire to 30 cal centerfire (no centerfire rifle magnum rounds).  

Event timeline: 

First day block departs at 7:15 a.m. 

Last day block departs at 7:15 p.m. 

First  night block departs at 9:00 p.m. 

Last night block departs at 11:00 p.m. Range Day finish 11:30 p.m. 

Course Description Competitors will be able to choose from 3 classes, see our classes and their requirements below: 

Light "Light fighter" = Rifle/Pistol (hard type holster required), 3 Mags for each, water source, eye/ear pro 

Medium "Tactical" = All the above listed in the Light Fighter Class, Additionally, body armor including front and back ballistic plates 

Heavy "Grunt" = All the above in Light Fighter and Tactical Class, including rucksack with 35lb dry weight (Body Armor, weapons, ammunition, kit, water IS NOT CONSIDERED WEIGHT for Rucksack, ruck must be 35 lbs of additional weight). Rucksacks will be grounded prior to the start of the shooting stages. 

Range Area is a 1 mile loop with 4 to 6 shooting courses of fire for each loop, a total of 10 different stages. 

When a competitor/team purchases a time block they get the following: 

Complete range to them for that time block.   No waiting for their turn to shoot a stage.   A dedicated RO to help explain each stage and record their time/score. Scorecard to see how they did on each stage. 30 full minutes to complete both courses, and any additional stages they may want to shoot again if they have time remaining. 

Night time blocks will have either whitelight or NVG course depending on the competitor preference.   Competitors will show up 45 minutes prior to their time block for sign in, safety brief, and course overview.
